Suzuki Piano of Louisville is the teaching studio of Bruce Boiney.   Approximately sixty students, ranging in age from 3 years old to adult, come to the studio in Crestwood, Kentucky for lessons each week. Students have individual lessons and often observe part of another student’s lesson.  Beginning students are scheduled in groups of two to five students.

In the beginning stage of instruction, students learn by ear.   This allows them to develop a natural technique and appreciation for sound before learning to read music.  Students perform regularly in group classes, music parties and formal recitals.  Formal recitals, typically held at Comstock Concert Hall at the University of Louisville School of Music, are free and open to the public.

Students also benefit from participating in special events such as Suzuki Workshops and other musical events held in Louisville and other cities.  Families are encouraged to attend good professional concerts as well.  Our goal is to provide a nurturing and musically stimulating environment for children.
